Ashtead Technology has completed its (USD) $2 million investment in a new Houston facility as part of their ongoing international growth plans. The new building is three times the size of the previous address allowing the global subsea equipment solutions firm to increase their service lines and capabilities from their Gulf of Mexico headquarters. Neste MY Renewable Jet Fuel has won an award for its role in reducing black carbon emissions in a competition jointly organized by the Climate Leadership Coalition, the Bioenergy Association of Finland, the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, the Finnish Environment Institute, and the Central Association of Chimney Sweeps. The purpose of the competition was to find examples of effective ways to reduce black carbon emissions. The European Commission has approved, under EU State aid rules, a scheme to support electricity production from renewable energy sources in Lithuania. The measure, open to all types of renewable generation, will contribute to the EU environmental objectives without unduly distorting competition.
