Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has announced that it has signed a contract to supply and commission 43 SG 4.5-145 wind turbines, with flexible rating up to 4.8 MW, for a wind project in Canada with an undisclosed customer. The new long-term contract, which Geminor won through an official tendering process, binds the resource management company to deliver a total of 85 000 tonnes of Municipal mixed waste and refuse-derived fuel (RDF) to the Estonian energy company Enefit Green.
