Finland’s incoming government has today introduced its Government Programme which includes ambitious climate targets and a goal for carbon neutral Finland in 2035. As part of reducing transport-related emissions, the share of biofuels in aviation is targeted at 30% through a blending obligation. “This is a significant goal, enabling Finland to join the forerunners in reducing emissions in aviation. One of the largest retailers in Switzerland, Coop, has adopted ABB solar inverter technology as part of the company’s ambitious target to become carbon neutral by 2023. Solar solutions from ABB, a technology leader in digital industries have helped Coop to reach an energy self-consumption rate of 90 percent.
