One of the largest retailers in Switzerland, Coop, has adopted ABB solar inverter technology as part of the company’s ambitious target to become carbon neutral by 2023. Solar solutions from ABB, a technology leader in digital industries have helped Coop to reach an energy self-consumption rate of 90 percent. Washington DC – According to an analysis by the SUN DAY Campaign of data just released by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), solar, wind, and hydropower accounted for nearly three-fifths (59.6%) of new capacity added to the U.S. electricity generation mix during the first quarter of 2019.
