In terms of the contract, W2e’s UK subsidiary, Waste2Energy Engineering Ltd., will perform the preliminary design work necessary to finalize the design and specifications of major equipment, provide layouts of the plant, final specifications and definitive pricing.

W2e’s cBOS™ technology is employed in a 24 MTPD plant in Husavik, Iceland that has been operating for nearly 4 years and in a soon to be commissioned 120 MTPD facility in Dumfries, Scotland. The air emissions from the Husavik plant have easily passed the stringent EU regulations and the Dumfries plant has received a permit to operate from SEPA (Scottish Environmental Protection Agency).
