NREL Partnerships To Help The Grid Accommodate More Renewable Energy

The Energy Department’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) on June 15 announced five new partnerships, awarding up to $6.5 million in federal funds to technical teams throughout the country. These cost-shared projects with industry, universities, and other stakeholders will address enabling the nation’s electric grid to handle increasing amounts of renewable energy.
