ICOSOLAR® TPA HR has been awarded with Class 1 according to UNI 9177, an Italian certification.

The flammability of the ICOSOLAR® TPA HR backsheet was determined on the basis of the testing standards UNI 8457 and UNI 9174 with the classification of UNI 9177. The tests have been executed by the Instituto Giordano S.p.A and resulted in Class 1, the highest level.
The certification Reaction to Fire Class 1 is in accordance with the “Guide for the installation of Photovoltaic Systems – Edition 2012” published by the Italian Ministry of Interior.
With this certificate ICOSOLAR® TPA HR – ISOVOLTAIC’s PV backsheet for particularly challenging climatic conditions – again proves its excellence. The backsheet combines the best out of two different technologies (specially modified polyamide for the inner layer and Tedlar® for the outer layer) and has already been UL recognized, JET component registered and TÜV notified for approval.
