The Inventors Warehouse, LLC announced today that it has launched a crowd funding campaign on the popular crowd funding website IndieGoGo.com. The funds raised from the crowd funding effort will be used in the development of a shared creative space and small business accelerator. The unique facility is designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs, technology development companies and artists who lack a defined space for their work and who don’t have access to the proper tools and equipment needed for their business.
The founder of Inventors Warehouse, Mr. Robby Richards stated, “There is no shortage of talent, knowledge and growth potential for the tech industry in America. We have everything that we need to succeed right before us; all we need to do is connect the dots and let these incredibly intelligent, creative and talented people get to work developing exciting new products and companies.” The Inventors Warehouse will serve as a hub for creative types such as artists, designers, inventors, artisans, entrepreneurs and technology development companies. The facility will provide a cost effective headquarters where members can interact with each other and have the tools and business support services that they need in order to be successful.
The facility will also be positioned to provide many types of vocational training classes for US military veterans, the unemployed and underemployed. The Inventors Warehouse is uniquely positioned to assist the unemployed learn the technical skills they need to find good jobs in high demand growth industries such as machining, machine tool operators and machine tool repair and maintenance jobs.
Inventor’s Warehouse members will be able to pay a set monthly fee starting at $150 per month for personal access and use of the facilities on a first come, first served basis. Additional training classes will be offered on an a la carte basis throughout the year. The facility will provide metal and wood working equipment, graphic design, 3D printing rapid prototyping equipment and many additional tools for members to use in their projects.
Inventors Warehouse recently signed a purchase offer to acquire a vacant industrial property in Phoenix which will be remodeled to suit the needs of the new facility. The crowd funding campaign is soliciting funding to support the build out at the facility for our initial tenants and members, as well as to purchase specialized R&D equipment for the facility, such as several 3D printing rapid prototyping machines.
The facility will be designed to be entirely powered by renewable energy systems including pv solar and wind turbines. The Inventors Warehouse is seeking to build relationships with renewable energy industry participants in order to conduct research and development work and product development work within the facility.
The Inventors Warehouse is actively soliciting new individual and corporate members for a planned initial launch in Phoenix in January, 2013.
