The Bavarian specialist for PV silicon cleaning has a strong partner on the Asia-Pacific market – the Taiwanese company KEEYANG Engineering Ltd.
In June, DECKER Anlagenbau GmbH and KEEYANG Engineering Ltd. from Taiwan formed a partnership, especially in the manufacturing of PV-systems. This ensures that Decker has highly qualified service on site. The partnership also opens new development perspectives for the Bavarian company in the field of electroplating. Premium automotive engineering – which is an important sector for the Bavarian plant manufacturer – is currently enjoying strong growth in the Asian market.
“Without effective after sales service, plant manufacturing on the Asian market cannot be successful. We were looking for a local partner which meets our high quality standards and allows us to grow further. For us, the partnership with KEEYANG is a stroke of luck”, says the managing director of DECKER – Kay Rehberg – about the partnership. KEEYANG will support DECKER with sales in China, Japan and Taiwan and will take over the after sales service. This was arranged when managing director Steven Lee visited the head office of DECKER Anlagenbau in Berching.
So far, DECKER mainly worked together with German plant manufacturers on the Asia-Pacific market. Now the company wants to strengthen its autonomous activity in Asia with the support of its new partner. Due to the global consolidation of PV markets, manufacturers worldwide are equipping for the tough competition and are investing to increase in productivity and quality of their systems and products. DECKER is a specialist in the optimization of ROI through technological innovations in plant manufacturing. “Many experts assume that the PV market will boom again in two years. If you want to be prepared for this boom you have to invest today”, says Kay Rehberg.
The head office of the family-run KEEYANG Engineering Ltd. is located in Taipeh, Taiwan. The company also has a plant in Tainan and offices in China’s big economic hotspots – Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzen. Managing director Steven Lee took over the company which was founded by his father in 1992. KEEYANG plans, produces and runs complex industrial plants. Its customers are important companies of Japanese industry like DAINIPPON SCREEN, HITACHI, HITEC, TORAY and ULVAC. KEEYANG has installed coating plants, scanners and plants for plasma enhanced vapor deposition for these big groups. It offers different business activities like the construction of turnkey PV production lines or railway systems for high speed trains.
