The World Expo will take place in Shanghai, from May 1 to October 31 2010. The Expo site is located at waterfront area on both sides of the Huangpu River, between Nanpu Bridge and Lupu Bridge. The theme is « Better City, Better Life». Shanghai Expo will be the biggest World Expo ever with 220 confirmed participants and 70 million visitors expected.

The Belgian-European Pavilion will contain a 160 kW integrated solar system which comprises approximately 690 of Trina Solar’s modules and covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The system is expected to generate approximately 116,000 kilowatt hours of electricity and displace approximately 39 tons of coal consumption and 87 tons of carbon emissions per year.
