Associated Alcohols & Breweries Limited has secured a contract to supply 29,724 kiloliters of ethanol to oil marketing companies (OMCs), including Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).
The company participated in a tender floated by OMCs under EBPP for the Ethanol Supply Year (ESY) 2024-25.
For the ESY 2024-25 Cycle 1, OMCs have allocated approximately 837 crore liters of ethanol from the 970 crore liters offered by manufacturers nationwide. OMCs had called for tenders to procure 916 crore liters of ethanol for the same supply year.
