Nearly 2,000 pounds of electronic waste — from boxy television sets and cell phones to a vacuum cleaner and a coffee maker — were recycled Tuesday, Jan. 14, as the Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC) partnered with Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) to host a free e-waste recycling event.
