Wood Group GTS’ gas turbine service centre in Lincoln, UK has achieved three major accreditations within a seven month period. ISO 9001 Quality Management System accreditation was awarded in February with no non-conformances, observations or recommendations for improvement raised by the assessors. This achievement reflects the hard work and detailed knowledge of the staff in Lincoln, as well as support from other GTS facilities in Aberdeen. In addition, the Lincoln business has now successfully acquired ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety), again with no non-conformances.

Accreditation provides customers with the assurance that all work undertaken in the Lincoln facility is carried out by trained technicians, working safely, with high consideration for the environment, to the highest standard, and that engines are fully tested in GTS’ newly upgraded, state-of-the-art test facility in Aberdeen.

The 10,000 sq ft Lincoln facility is located at Sadler Park and offers support services for Siemens^® and Solar^® gas turbines, including field service and logistics. Wood Group GTS has successfully integrated the health and safety, environment and quality management systems into all aspects of the business.
