Trina Solar has always grown in a sustainable way. We have already secured 80% of our raw material needs for 2009 through short, mid and long term agreements signed with the best polysilicon suppliers, such as Wacker or D.C.Chemical. Trina Solar is planning to grow production capacity from 350 MW at the end of 2008 to 700 MW by the end of 2009. Our main investors are well recognized international capital risk companies, such as Milestone Capital and Merrill Lynch (USA), who are active members of the Board of Directors and contribute to finance the ambitious expansion plans of the company. Trina Solar is listed in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) since December 2006 with “TSL” reference.
Trina Solar enjoys a very well-recognised brand image in the most important key markets in the PV industry. Thus we are counted among the most important PV manufacturers in countries such as Germany, Spain, Italy, France and Benelux, where we enjoy a significant market share – in some countries close to 20%. Trina Solar participates in the largest events of the sector with a clear, unified image as part of the strong bet of the company to promote our brand worldwide.
