In the course of the roadshow, Q-Cells is strengthening its European network of partners and sales channels as it presents the next generation of Q-Cells solar modules. The specially designed solar lorry pulls in at Q-Cells partners’ locations with a built-in presentation and training room in tow. Thanks to its aerodynamic design, the articulated lorry saves up to 25% more fuel than similar lorry models.

On 22 July, the lorry will get started on its tour of Germany in Munich. Q-Cells partners are invited to learn about the benefits provided by Q-Cells’ new solar products in a professional training session. The company wants to ensure that Q-Cells solar systems are properly attached by providing product-specific descriptions of solar module installation. This allows Q-Cells to guarantee high performance and 100 per cent quality for customers.

Set to tour Germany and Austria over the course of two months, the lorry, designed by Luigi Colani, combines aerodynamics with futuristic elements. Q-Cells exhibits its innovative solar products in the Truck: crystalline Q.PRO and Q.PEAK solar modules, as well as CIGS thin-film modules from the Q.SMART product line. The vehicle’s roof is fitted with a solar system, which supplies a bar inside the truck with solar power.

PRO.MAP, Q-Cells’ newly-formed market activation programme, encompasses various building blocks which can be used to support sales for Q-Cells’ partners. The Solar Roadshow supports shared sales campaigns to systematically inform installers and service technicians. On top of this, Q-Cells provides its partners with training, extensive marketing and sales support, a skilled sales hotline and on-site professional advice.
