Protéines France is set to integrate into Bioeconomy For Change (B4C), marking a significant step towards enhancing the collective impact on sustainable protein initiatives and the broader bioeconomy. This integration will officially create a community called “Protéines France” within B4C, as announced in a recent communication.
The collaboration between B4C and Protéines France has been ongoing since B4C’s inception in 2017, during which time B4C has supported Protéines France in executing its initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable protein sectors. The decision to formalize this partnership is seen as a strategic move by B4C to strengthen its focus on the agri-food sector and sustainable proteins, while also pooling resources to better serve its members.
This integration is expected to enhance the range of services available to members, including regulatory monitoring, innovation support, project development assistance, and increased visibility at both national and European levels. Importantly, the integration aims to ensure continuity in the actions and teams currently in place.
Members of B4C will have the opportunity to vote on this strategic integration, with the electronic voting period scheduled from November 24 to December 9. The final decision will be made during an Extraordinary General Assembly on December 10, 2025, where the integration will be formally approved.
This move is anticipated to bolster B4C’s influence among decision-makers in France and Europe, further solidifying its role in the sustainable protein landscape. The upcoming assembly will provide a platform for stakeholders to discuss the implications of this integration and its potential benefits for the ecosystem surrounding sustainable protein production.
