New Jersey Governor Enacts Balcony Solar Legislation

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill has officially signed the Garden State Balcony Solar Act (S2368/A4836) into law. This new legislation aims to eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles, enabling residents of New Jersey to acquire and utilise portable, plug-in solar panels. The initiative is designed to empower individuals to generate their own clean energy, thereby reducing their electricity expenses. Governor Sherrill has expressed a strong commitment to lowering energy costs for residents since taking office.
