CALSEIA and SEMI PV Group Expand Relationships for 2010 Conference and Exhibition
San Francisco, CA,
Intersolar North America, the premier exhibition for solar professionals to exchange information and develop business opportunities in the U.S. solar market, today announced the expansion of solar association partners for the 2010 conference and exhibition to include SEMI PV Group, California Solar Energy Industries Association (CALSEIA), SolarTech, American Solar Energy Society (ASES), Northern California Solar Energy Association (NorCal Solar), and The Centers for International Trade Development (CITD). During its 20 year history, Intersolar has formed strategic partnerships to help the solar market through close working relationships between companies and industry associations.
While CALSEIA has long been a supporter of Intersolar North America, this year the two organizations have strategically strengthened their partnership. Intersolar and CALSEIA will showcase new California market information and developments at Intersolar North America, this July and beyond. CALSEIA will also organize a conference session entitled “Doing Business in California.” This important session will provide a guide through the maze of California requirements, such as product certification and warranty requirements and construction and sales licensing, among others. Intersolar is also taking a more proactive role in supporting CASEIA’s activities in the important California solar market.
“We believe our partnership with Intersolar will further serve CALSEIA’s mission to expand the use of all solar technologies in California and establish a sustainable industry for a clean energy future,” said Sue Kateley, Executive Director of CALSEIA. “As Intersolar North America’s home is in San Francisco, we intend our partnership to continue to stimulate the California solar market and the industry as a whole.”
Intersolar North America continues to strengthen the partnership with co-location partner SEMICON West and co-organizers PV Group, the global photovoltaic initiative of SEMI. To provide a well-rounded perspective on the issues that underpin the development of the global solar industry, PV Group will bring a focus on global supply chain and manufacturing to the conference and exhibition
“Intersolar North America’s partnerships at the 2010 conference and exhibition are designed to help solar companies at all stages of growth to secure the best resources and processes across the entire international solar industry,” said Markus Elsaesser, CEO Solar Promotion International GmbH. “
Intersolar North America’s additional partners and supporters include SolarTech, an industry group focused on standards and best practices at the local, state and federal level, across six initiatives including performance, commercialization of solar and workforce readiness, ASES, the nation’s leading association of solar professionals & advocates, NorCal Solar, a non-profit educational organization, and CITD, which provides a variety of free or low-cost programs & services to assist local companies in doing business abroad.
Intersolar views these strategic partnerships, such as with CALSEIA, as the cornerstone for facilitating information exchange within the solar industry around the world,” added Klaus W. Seilnacht, CEO of Freiburg Management and Marketing International GmbH.
