World leaders gathered in Paris recently for the 21st United Nations climate conference, known as COP 21. Our mission: Secure an ambitious global agreement to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and minimize climate change.

As negotiators hammer out the details of an agreement, I met with energy ministers, mayors, executives and other leaders to champion the clean energy solutions that are vital to reducing carbon emissions worldwide. Read on to learn more about how we can beat climate change.
