Eco Expo Asia 2025 is set to take place from October 28 to 31 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, marking its 20th edition. This year’s theme, “Green Innovations for Carbon Neutrality,” emphasizes the urgent need for solutions to accelerate carbon reduction efforts globally. The event will host over 300 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions, showcasing a variety of technologies and practices aimed at promoting environmental sustainability.
The expo will focus on three primary areas: Circular Economy and Waste Management, Green & Smart Mobility, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) related services. These sectors are critical as industries worldwide seek to adopt more sustainable practices and reduce their carbon footprints. The event aims to foster collaboration among professionals across various industries, encouraging the exploration of green business opportunities.
A key feature of the expo will be the Eco Asia Conference, which will bring together government representatives from the Chinese Mainland and Belt and Road Initiative countries, along with global industry leaders. This conference will serve as a platform for discussing the latest policies, projects, and insights on pressing environmental issues, highlighting the importance of international cooperation in addressing climate change.
On October 31, the final day of the expo, a Public Day will be held, allowing the general public to attend free of charge. This initiative aims to promote sustainable lifestyles and will include green talks and workshops designed to educate attendees on environmental issues and solutions.
The event is jointly organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, with support from the Environment and Ecology Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Additionally, a virtual business matching platform, Click2Match, will be available from October 21 to November 7, enabling exhibitors and buyers to connect and explore potential partnerships even after the physical event concludes.
