The Biodiesel Coalition of Missouri (BCM) has launched its annual Biodiesel Credit Program, offering fleet operators across the state an opportunity to receive financial support for using biodiesel blends of B6 or higher, reported Biodiesel Magazine.

James Greer, Chairman of BCM, highlighted the benefits of biodiesel, stating, “Biodiesel brings significant advantages to Missouri, supporting our local fuel supply and the environment. As a domestically produced, cleaner alternative to petroleum diesel, it boosts energy security and improves public health. BCM encourages fleets statewide to make biodiesel a part of their regular fueling routine.”

As per the media report, the program offers a rebate of 25 cents per gallon, with a maximum of $1,000, for fleets using B6 or higher biodiesel blends. Public and private fleets, including those operated by counties, municipalities, trucking companies, and farms, are eligible to apply. Matt Amick, Executive Director of BCM, explained the benefits of biodiesel for fleet operations: “Biodiesel enhances engine performance by improving lubricity, boosting combustion efficiency, and reducing wear and tear.
