International Supply Chain Integrator To Use Avjet Biotech Refineries To Produce Aviation Biofuel.

PINEHURST, N.C. – Avjet Biotech, Inc. (ABI), a leading developer of small distributive refining systems in the 10 to 15 million gallon per year range and parent company of Red Wolf Refining (www.redwolfrefining.com/), has announced that it is in negotiation for a strategic relationship with BioJet International LTD. BioJet is an international supply chain integrator for renewable (bio) jet fuel and related co-products. The company operates across the supply chain by owning or controlling large quantities of bio-feedstock, developing refining capacity, solving aviation fuel supply logistics, and handling sales to end users.

Under the agreement with ABI, BioJet will use the patented RWR System to build refineries that will produce aviation biofuels from native feedstocks at locations around the globe.

QUOTES:
“Our unique small distributive refining systems blueprint is perfectly matched to BioJet’s goal to increase international use of sustainable biofuel,” said Marty Oliver, president of ABI. “The refineries that BioJet will be able to place will help the aviation industry continue to find renewable sources of energy.”

“The aviation industry continues to face increased regulations regarding emissions and demonstrated use of biofuel,” said Don Evans, chairman and CEO of ABI. “BioJet’s use of the RWR System will increase the availability of aviation biofuel for commercial air carriers.”

“We are committed to helping airlines increase their use of sustainable biofuel, and this technology will allow us to place refineries that will turn native feedstock into aviation biofuel,” said Mitch Hawkins, CEO of BioJet. “AvJet is one of the first companies to have the technology that allows for the creation of small, distributive refineries, and we are looking forward to implementing it at multiple locations world-wide.”

DETAILS:
– ABI recently completed a license agreement to commercialize all patents and intellectual property related to the Professor Roberts’ biofuels program at NC State University, including products for the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries from genetically modified marine microalgae. The license agreement is global in scope and extends to 22 foreign countries where patents have been filed.

– Avjet Biotech has developed the RWR System, a unique patented refining technique that uses a thermal catalytic process to refine any triglyceride into aviation biofuels. The RWR System is under development for sale as a small distributive refining system to global entities or foreign governments that aspire to produce aviation biofuels from native feedstocks. Red Wolf has been approached by global corporations and foreign governments for sub-licenses for its RWR System.

– ABI’s other division is Pinehurst Biologics, which produces patented enzymes and algal oil for aviation biofuel feedstock.
