ARENA Celebrates Installation of 100th Community Battery in Australia

ARENA’s Milestone Achievement

The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has announced that it has reached a significant milestone with the installation of its 100th community battery storage system. This achievement is part of ARENA’s Community Batteries Funding Initiative, which aims to enhance energy storage capabilities across Australia.

Future Projects Funded

In addition to this milestone, ARENA has also allocated funding for three new community battery projects, further expanding the initiative and supporting the transition to renewable energy sources.
