Waaree Solar Americas, a solar panel brand and a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited from India, has announced plans to invest approximately $37 million in the former Meyer Burger facility located in Goodyear, Arizona. This investment aims to reactivate the site, enhancing its operational capabilities. Once the upgrades are completed, the plant is expected to achieve an annual assembly capacity of 1.6 gigawatts for solar panels.
