The Bioeco Camp is set to commence on November 14, 2023, in Reims, with a conference titled “Agricultures durables x innovations : enjeux croisés & opportunités”. This event, organized by Quest for bioeconomy as part of the PUI InnoRem initiative, aims to explore the intersection of sustainable agriculture and innovation, focusing on the pressing challenges and opportunities within the sector.
The conference will feature two prominent speakers: Serge Zaka, a recognized agroclimatologist, who will discuss the climatic challenges facing agriculture today, and Hervé Pillaud, an expert in artificial intelligence in agriculture, who will share insights on innovative opportunities for creating a more sustainable and resilient agricultural sector.
Scheduled from 2 PM to 4 PM, the conference will include discussions and exchanges among participants, followed by a networking break. The event will culminate in the launch of the Bioeco Camp hackathon, which will take place from November 14 to 16, bringing together students and professionals to collaboratively develop sustainable solutions.
During the hackathon, participants will tackle significant challenges across various domains, including food, energy, forestry, bio-inputs, agriculture, and bio-based materials. The event encourages both project leaders, who can transform their ideas into tangible prototypes, and contributors, who can lend their skills and fresh perspectives.
Additionally, the Bioeco Camp will feature a job dating session, providing an opportunity for students to connect with potential employers in the bioeconomy sector. This initiative aims to foster collaboration between students and industry professionals, facilitating the emergence of innovative ideas and solutions in bioeconomy.
