The order is for the second phase.
Vestas, the world leader in wind energy, has received another order for a total of 50 MW of wind energy from the same customer as announced on March 30. The order is for the second phase of the same project in the Heilongjiang province. At the customer’s request, further details about the project’s ownership cannot be disclosed.
The contract includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline® Business SCADA system and a two-year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery of the turbines is planned to take place during the third quarter of 2010.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with this customer,” said Jens Tommerup, President of Vestas China. “Furthermore, we are excited to continue to share our 30 years of industry experience with this important customer, providing them with our knowledge, expertise and support.”
