GoBiGas in Gothenburg is the world so far largest installation for thermal gasification of biomass to bio-methane.
The project is an initiative of Göteborg Energi, the public utility in Gothenburg. The unit has been up and running for some time, but is officially inaugurated this week, by the Swedish Energy Minister Anna-Karin Hatt.
As part of World Bioenergy 2014 there will be a study tour to GoBiGas on 4 June, sponsored by Valmet, a company that has delivered major parts of the plant. The study tour takes much of the afternoon and evening, and dinner is included in the tour, which in turn is included in the conference price. Don’t miss this opportunity to see a truly unique gasification plant.
