Clean Power Concepts Inc. ("Clean Power") (OTC Bulletin Board: CPOW) today announced plans for expansion of its 'green energy' manufacturing business.
REGINA, Saskatchewan, PRNewswire-FirstCall/
Mr. Michael Shenher, CEO of Clean Power and GBE commented, “Now that we have become a publicly traded company, it’s our intention to aggressively move forward during the coming fiscal year, with expansion of our crushing capacity to a potential of 450 metric tonnes crushing capacity per day and improve and increase our refining capacity. We also plan to research acquisition of a U.S. based biodiesel operation to assist in meeting this production goal and to capitalize on a ‘blenders credit’ provided by the U.S. government. Clean Power is also investigating expansion within Canada to develop, or acquire, additional crushing facilities and biodiesel operations and is working on an initiative to develop camelina and canola oil refining with a view to producing bio jet fuel.”
Mr. Shenher continued, “Our status as a fully operational bio energy products supplier provides us with significant advantages. We know the business and know how to adapt to new opportunities and to changes in agricultural supply conditions. We know where we want to go and we know how to get there. Additionally – although this circumstance saddens us – current environmental concerns due the oil disaster occurring in the Gulf of Mexico will again shine a spotlight on the alternative energy market and we are working to be ready to meet that increase in demand.”
