Energy trading company Danske Commodities has signed a three-year deal to buy all of the power from Polenergia and Equinor’s Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 wind farms and trade it on Poland’s wholesale electricity market. It will be responsible for trading and balancing the power from the wind farms – which are due to have a combined capacity of 1,440MW – under a newly signed three-year deal. Apex Clean Energy is to supply clean electricity to a consortium of universities, hospitals and other non-profit organisations in the Boston area in a deal the renewables developers claims is the first of its kind.
