Advanced Energy unveils new technology soon to be introduced to market.
When: September 20, 2011
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Embassy Suites Hotel Portland International Airport Portland, Oregon
As demand for distributed solar increases, there’s an immediate need for large-scale PV systems to become better “citizens of the grid” in order to streamline integration and improve overall stability. Under the SEGIS program, Advanced Energy and its partners have been able to develop technologies that address the underlying challenges of increasing PV deployment on the grid.
What to expect:
- Live synchrophasor based islanding demonstration
- Live SCADA integrated PV system control
- Volt/VAr management demonstration
- Autonomous schedule power factor control
- Optimized energy harvest
- Insights into future inverter system capabilities
- Live demonstrations of SEGIS technology at a solar installation on the PGE Grid
