It is fair to say that the two latest additions to the Danfoss inverter portfolio, the MLX decentralized power plant inverter and the QLX central inverter, stole the show in Chicago.
“Having been in this business for many years we understand the need to constantly improve and find new ways of looking at PV plants. The MLX and QLX series are a result of this. Once you get to know these two new product series you understand how truly ground breaking they are. That was also acknowledged here at SPI”, Jonathan Baer, Head of Danfoss Solar Inverters in the US said.
The MLX concept was widely accepted and applauded as a truly innovative and visionary concept. Customer and competitors alike came to see the powerful yet compact inverter. 60 kW in a 75 kg enclosure amazed most people.
The impressive QLX central inverter was also an instant hit. Deals were closed at the stand and customers were very excited about the innovative technology behind the inverter.
“The MLX and QLX inverter series are perfect fits for the systems we see predominating the US market. Both series will contribute to building competitive PV plants, and bottom line that is what it’s all about”, Jonathan Baer concludes.
The QLX is currently available for sales and the MLX will be released for sales in the US in summer 2014.
