The first order signed with Toshiba Europe T&D, for a project that will promote Eolica Erchie in the Puglia Region, includes 15 turbines G90-2.0 MW
Bilbao, 2 October 2012. Gamesa, a global technology leader in the wind energy market, will supply 30 MW in Italy to the wind farm that Eolica Erchie develops in the Province of Brindisi, in Puglia Region.
The order, the first that the company signed with Toshiba Europe T&D (EPC Contractor worldwide) for a project of Eolica Erchie developer, includes the installation of 15 wind turbines G90-2.0 MW.
It is expected that the installation of the wind turbines to be started before the end of the year.
The wind farm will reach an annual production of 69 GWh, equivalent to about 12,900 tons of petroleum (TEP) per year and prevents the emission into the atmosphere of about 30,300 tonnes of CO2 annually.
