The Energy Department on August 21 announced up to $9 million in funding for the design of sustainable bioenergy systems that enhance the environmental and socio-economic sustainability of cellulosic bioenergy through the improvement of feedstock production, logistics systems, and technology development.
The Antares Group of Lanham, Maryland, will receive the funding to support more stable and diverse future feedstock supplies such as corn stover, switchgrass, and other warm season grasses for three cellulosic biorefineries. The project will incorporate a broad …read more
