Dow Corning Adds to Growing European Distribution Network
Midland, Mich. – Dow Corning Corp., a global leader in silicones, silicon-based technology and innovation, has selected GA Lindberg as distributor of its silicon-based solutions for solar applications in Sweden and Denmark.
With more than 65 years of experience as a respected regional supplier, GA Lindberg will market and deliver Dow Corning’s range of sealants and adhesives across Europe’s robust solar industry. GA Lindberg specializes in the distribution of silicon-based products and has worked in the solar market for more than two decades. Currently, the company is a distributor of Dow Corning’s Electronics and 3AM (including Industrial Sealants and Molykote® special lubricants) for the automotive, MRO, IOE, appliances and aviation markets.

· A $1.8 billion (USD) joint integrated silicone manufacturing site in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province, China, in partnership with Wacker Chemie AG. The new manufacturing site will be China’s largest facility of this kind and will include a siloxane plant and a pyrogenic silica plant.
· A $13 million Solar Energy Exploration & Development Center in Seneffe, Belgium. The facility will be a home for solar research and development, product innovation and customer collaboration.
· A new China Business and Technology Center in Shanghai, which will comprise a state-of-the-art technology and development facility and Dow Corning China corporate offices.
