The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) and its Bureau of Ocean Energy Management celebrateda “steel in the water” milestone in Rhode Island for the first commercial offshore wind farm in the United States. The steel is part of the foundation for the wind farm which is scheduled to be online in 2016.
