The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) on August 24 announced that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has approved a 485-megawatt photovoltaic facility in Riverside County, California. The Blythe Mesa Solar project will produce enough renewable energy to power more than 145,000 homes in California.
The Blythe Mesa project will be built on 3,587 acres of private land under the jurisdiction of Riverside County and the City of Blythe. The project requires DOI’s approval because a 230-kilovolt generation interconnection …read more
