DCO’s CHP projects prevented an estimated 157,000 tons of carbon equivalent.
DCO Energy is proud to announce that that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Partnership has recognized DCO Energy’s contribution to efficient domestic energy production with the US EPA CHP Partnership Certificate of Partner Greenhouse Gas Reduction for the 3rd consecutive year.
This report estimates that to date, the high efficiency of DCO’s CHP projects prevented an estimated 157,000 tons of carbon equivalent.
What does this mean? It translates into an estimated emissions reduction in 2010 equivalent to the emissions from 26,815 passenger vehicles.
“DCO Energy is committed to efficient, clean energy solutions,” said Frank DiCola, President of DCO Energy. “Efficient energy production in the United States is vital, and we are proud to contribute through the efficiency of our projects. We would like to thank the EPA for this recognition.”
